Sid Banerjee is an entrepreneur and thought leader in the field of Applied Gaming and Virtual Reality.

His visionary & pioneering work as the CEO of Indusgeeks has positioned the company amongst The Top World Leaders in Game-Based & Virtual Reality Training. Indusgeeks has received multiple awards and has most recently been awarded with The Brandon-Hall Gold Award for “Best Use of Games & Simulations for Learning”.

Sid’s a founding Board Member of NASSCOM’s Applied Gaming, Special Interest Group (SIG), working with governments & the gaming industry worldwide to formulate key policies that are directly transforming the applied gaming ecosystem.

Sid spotted the market for ‘Immersive-Internet’ technologies in late 2006 and left Deloitte to start Indusgeeks in 2007.

In 2015, Sid co-founded Simtabs with a team from Stanford University, to transform healthcare training using cutting edge technologies like Augmented, Mixed & Virtual Reality.

He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Economic Times, The Times of India & CNBC for his insights on emerging trends in applied gaming technology.
