David Sarno is the founder of Lighthaus, Inc., an award-winning virtual reality studio that has pioneered immersive experiences in healthcare and education. Lighthaus has co-developed the Stanford Virtual Heart with Dr. David Axelrod of Stanford’s Betty Irene Moore Children’s Heart Center. Sarno was a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University, and was a technology journalist at the Los Angeles Times from 2006-2013. He holds an M.F.A in creative writing from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and a degree in Computer Science from Yale University.
