Kyle Rand is the CEO and cofounder of Rendever, a virtual reality startup that has developed an entire VR platform specifically designed for the community setting, with a strong focus on the aging population. During his time studying neuro-engineering at Duke, he spent 3 years researching the structural and functional changes in the brain that cause memory decline as people age. Since then, he’s explored the world of tech – from building a social network for sleep research, to cofounding a grassroots organization for healthcare access, to working on a home comfort IoT platform – before returning to the world of memory care and mental health with Rendever.
