Rebecca Mandel is co-founder and CEO of Lucid Care, a VR healthcare startup that helps people reduce anxiety and relapse rates for drug and alcohol addiction in treatment and at home.

She is a VR expert in the field of healthcare and medical applications. She co-developed the first VR study to reduce anxiety for patients at Stanford Children’s Hospital and was a VR consultant to Stanford Psychiatry Department, healthcare startups, and foundations.

Rebecca started her VR career at Samsung and led marketing initiatives for the corporate fund’s VR portfolio companies. Her experience from the past 12 years working in tech, conducting research alongside academics and researchers, and as a patient herself, has offered her an unusual vantage point in transforming patient centered care with the latest emerging technologies.
